About Me
I'm Wei Jen Lu, a software engineer currently working at Microsoft.
My background is mainly in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, large-scale system migration, and engineering operations. More recently, I've been deeply exploring AI agents, RAG, prompt engineering, developer tools, and evaluation methods for AI-powered systems.
To me, AI is not just another set of tools. It feels like a turning point in how software engineers build, operate, and reason about systems. I'm especially interested in how AI changes the way we design systems, manage knowledge, evaluate quality, and rethink the role of engineers.
This blog is where I document my learning, experiments, and reflections. Some posts are technical deep dives. Some are working notes. Some are about AI agents and developer tools, while others come from day-to-day engineering work or personal observations.
I like turning vague ideas into clearer structures, and turning scattered experience into reusable knowledge. The writing here is not always a final answer. More often, it is a record of an ongoing journey.
